Today is the opening day for New Moon, and I think that by now, it's pretty obvious that here at Sugar HQ, we're totally excited about it! (In fact, we're going to all take in a screening of the movie today). While many fans focus on the vamps and romance, I'm more apt to notice the architecture and home decor.
Get the Look: The Cullen Living Room
Twilight had some serious design eye candy, so it's no surprise that New Moon would follow suit. This photo of the Cullen's living room is making me a feel a pang of envy. The apple greens and beige mixed with the abstract artwork, flickering pillar candles, and plethora of flowers creates a moody vibe that is totally calm and almost otherworldly.

Get the Look: Demetri and Zoey's Apartment in FlashForward
Newly engaged couple Demetri and Zoey, from ABC's new series Flash Forward, share a totally covetable LA loft. The style, which is decidedly modern, is tempered by accents that reflect their heritage — African and Asian elements are seen throughout the space. Overall, though, the space is eclectic, modern, and gorgeous.
Get the Look: That '70s Style of The Box
The Box, the new thriller from Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly, tells the story of a financially troubled married couple who receive a box containing a button. The next morning, a creepy mysterious stranger tells them that they will receive $1 million if they push the button, but someone in the world will die. The movie, which is based on a short story by Richard Matheson, is set in Richmond, VA, in the year 1976, so there's plenty of fun, funky styling to the set.
Get the Look: Serena van der Woodsen's Office
In this week's episode of Gossip Girl, "How to Succeed in Bassness," we got a look at Serena's new blue office. Aside from feeling total envy of the 19-year-old character for even having an office, I'm yearning to re-create the room for myself! It's a pretty uncomplicated space with simple, clean-lined furnishings but the cheerful blue paint and oceanic artwork make it really delightful.

Get the Look: (Untitled)
I am beyond excited for Jonathan Parker's new satirical indie comedy (Untitled), about a brooding avant-garde composer who falls for a trendy NYC gallerist, which stars Adam Goldberg and Marley Shelton — watch the trailer here. Seeing as the plot is set in the quirky world of contemporary art and music, it's no surprise that there's lots of modern design to drool over. The sets look downright hip and are full of furnishings that bridge the gap been art and décor.
Get the Look: Roxie's Bedroom in Eastwick
Roxie, Rebecca Romijn's character in witchy, sexy new ABC drama Eastwick, is an eccentric artist whose bohemian ways are reflected in her house's furnishings. Her bedroom especially rocks a boho-bordello vibe that suits this widowed mommy (who's dating a much younger man) quite well. Get the Look: Red Gossip Girl Room
In last night's episode of Gossip Girl, Blake Lively and Tyra Banks got cozy in their silk robes on a red velvet settee. The showstopping piece certainly makes the room, but the matching red damask wallpaper and blue velvet curtains continue the baroque theme throughout the room. Then, accents like the black and white embroidered pillows, brass bird wall sculpture, and rope tassels add another element of luxurious detailing.
