Watch Paraplegic Veteran Leave His Wheelchair to Dance With His Bride

These are the kinds of touching love stories that move you to tears. On his wedding day, Sgt. Joey Johnson stood for the first time since he became paraplegic from a motorcycle accident in 2012. His wife Michelle was in total awe when her groom stood in a harness so that he could dance with her.

Johnson served in Afghanistan and returned home with post-traumatic stress disorder. He attempted to overcome his suffering by riding a motorcycle, but he got into a tragic accident that severed his spinal cord. This horrible incident occurred very shortly after Johnson met his wife, who stayed with him through his highs and lows. The wedding dance is just one beautiful example of their profound love.
