Inhabiting the resort's entire top floor and a private wing of the third floor, the three penthouse residences will appeal to the deep-pocketed, style-savvy vacationer looking for something more elevated than the average cabin listing.
The interiors reflect a modern mountain lover's aesthetic with an underlying theme of casual elegance. "It's not your grandmother's Ritz-Carlton anymore. Instead of dripping in silk draperies, we wanted to bring a young, hip type of luxury," says Jay. We think he nailed it.

One of the highlights of last week's trip to Palm Springs Modernism Week was touring the magical grounds of Coachella Valley's first designer showcase at The Marrakesh Country Club. The showcase includes five properties sprinkled throughout the country club's 14 neighborhoods that date back to the late '60s.
