There's nothing I love more than sleeping, and finding the best mattress and cozy bedding is the key to giving myself a proper night of rest. After all, I spend at least eight hours in bed every day, so if there's one thing I'm going to invest in, it's my sleep routine. I make it my mission to create a calming bedroom, but I also want it to feel luxurious like I'm staying at a five-star hotel.

One thing I love about hotel stays? The ultra-comfortable bed setup, from the plush pillows to the crisp white sheets. So, I'm always looking for the most comfortable sheet sets to elevate my bedroom to create a vacation experience at home. One of my favorite bedding and home brands, Parachute, came out with a new fabric that looks like linen yet feels buttery smooth, and I knew I had to try it out for myself.

What I Like About the Parachute Heirloom Tencel Linen Sheet Set:

When I first got Parachute's Heirloom Tencel Linen Sheet Set, I immediately saw the contrast stitching. It's a very small detail, but it gave that hotel vibe. I noticed the relaxed look of the textured linen and how it just exudes cozy living. While setting my bed with these sheets, I also noticed that it had a slightly weighted feel that helped it drape beautifully on my mattress.

Sleeping in these sheets was like wearing my favorite sweatshirt — it felt comfortable with its soft, lived-in feel. It's not a plush type of soft nor a silky texture, but rather a familiar, natural softness that feels like a baby blanket. I didn't have to break the sheets in to experience peak performance — it instantly felt like I've had these for years. I've tried other brands of linen sheets, and they didn't feel as soft or lived-in until several washes in. Plus, these don't shed at all, which is great for my allergies.

These sheets keep me warm, locking in my body heat on cold nights. But they also keep me refreshed and cool when I feel too stuffy and hot at night. They're both breathable and insulating, truly adapting to my body's needs throughout the night.

These sheets are functional year-round and with proper care, they'll last a long time, too. All that's missing is the beachfront property with an ocean breeze (a girl can dream).

What to Consider Before Trying the Parachute Heirloom Tencel Linen Sheet Set

Although these sheets aren't 100 percent linen, this particular set performs better than some of the linen options on the market. The Heirloom Tencel Linen Sheet Set has a heavier, weighted feel to them, compared to other options like the percale, sateen, or pure linen.

These linen sheets have a lived-in look and feel with natural textures and creasing; if you prefer something more crisp and clean, this is probably not the fabric to fit for your needs.

Finally, to properly care for them, it's best to machine wash on warm and tumble dry on low. You should not bleach them nor dry clean them. You can steam or iron them on medium for a crisp look.
