Maybe you consider yourself an organized person, a "neat freak" if you will, but I have one question: how clean's your fridge? Just like our drawers and cabinets, our refrigerators can use some TLC as well, and Chrissy Teigen — who's always in cleaning mode — recognizes that. From snacks to leftovers to produce and more, Chrissy's refrigerator overhaul will show you just how spick and span yours can be, and even contains a few useful organizational tips and tricks to help you along the way. To tackle her Cravings HQ fridge, Chrissy called in organization expert Krystal Guinn to share her four-part philosophy to a clean refrigerator, and the results are amazing.

1. Grouping

Grouping similar items together makes it easy to know which section of your refrigerator has what (and which aisle at the grocery store you need to buy from). By putting dairy with dairy, beverages on their own shelf, and condiments in their own zone, you'll find that shopping for your next food item will be a piece of cake.

2. Compartmentalizing

It's important to use refrigerator accessories, like lazy Susans or drawer dividers, to achieve a clean look and have easy access to all your items. Compartmentalizing helps sustain the systems in place so that you always know when to restock. Keep in mind that you'll have to remove items from their original packages and boxes in order to do this, but it's all worth it in the end!

3. Visibility

Eliminate waste that's stuck in the back of your fridge by making everything visible. In order to do this, it's good to keep tall items in the back of the shelf and to store shorter items in the front. For leftovers, use clear containers (so you can tell what's inside) and stasher bags to color code snacks, fruits, vegetables, or any other loose ends you might have.

4. Uniformity

Keeping in mind the flow of your refrigerator is super important for a uniform look. For example, stacking beverages by size and using decant containers for juices gives your refrigerator an extra crystal clean aesthetic that will make it easy for anyone who's looking to grab a bite to eat or something to drink.
