Here's Where You Might Know Jake McDorman and the Rest of the "Mrs. Davis" Cast From

Gilpin plays Simone, who, as "Mrs. Davis"'s central hero, finds herself tasked with finding the Holy Grail. Previously, she starred as Debbie "Liberty Belle" Eagan in Netflix's "Glow" from 2017 to 2019. She also appeared in the film "The Hunt" in 2020. Additionally, she played Dr. Carrie Roman in "Nurse Jackie" (2013-2015).

McDorman plays Simone's childhood sweetheart, Wiley — though he continues calling her Lizzie throughout the series, and has a bit of trouble accepting her new position as a nun.

Previously, McDorman played Aquamarine's love interest Raymond in "Aquamarine" (2006). He also appeared in the film "American Sniper" (2014) and starred in the TV series "Limitless" (2015-2016). Additionally, he appeared in the shows "Greek" (2007–2011) and "Shameless" (2014), as well as "What We Do in the Shadows" (2019), and "Dopesick" (2021), and played the teacher Mr. Bruno in the film "Lady Bird" (2017). He also played Nelson Gardner in a 2019 episode of "Watchmen," and reunites with "Watchmen" series creator Damon Lindelof for "Mrs Davis."

McQueen plays Simone's boyfriend Jay, who often serves her delicious falafel from a mysteriously empty restaurant.

You might know McQueen from his role as Carlos Singh in "Outer Banks" season three, which began streaming in February 2023. He's also appeared in the TV shows "The Handmaid's Tale" (2017-) and "Station Eleven" (2021), and has starred in the movies "Fahrenheit 451" (2018) and "Disappearance at Clifton Hill" (2019), among others.

Chaplin plays Arthur Schrödinger, a scientist who finds himself washed up on an island. He's had many film roles over the years, including "The Truth About Cats & Dogs" (1996), "Murder by Numbers" (2002), and "Dorian Gray" (2009), and also starred in the TV show "The Nevers" (2021).

Diamantopoulos plays Wiley's right-hand man, the heroic, aggressive JQ. You might recognize Diamantopoulos from his role as Russ Hanneman in "Silicon Valley" (2014-2019) and from "The Three Stooges" (2012). He also voices Mickey Mouse in the Disney series "The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse" (2013).

Arquette plays Simone's father, an ambitious magician. His vast resume includes everything from a role in "Never Been Kissed" (1999) to his iconic character Dewey Riley in the first five Scream movies. He also won the tile of WCW World Heavyweight Champion in 2000.

Marvel plays Simone's very intimidating mother. Previously, Marvel played Solicitor General Heather Dunbar on "House of Cards" (2013-2018) and President Elizabeth Keane on "Homeland" (2011–2020). Additionally, she played Elizabeth Holmes's mother in The Dropout" in 2022. She's also had roles in "Burn After Reading" (2008) and "True Grit (2010)," among others.

Wlaschiha plays the vengeful priest Father Ziegler in "Mrs. Davis." He's probably best known for his role as Jaqen H'Ghar, or The Faceless Man, in "Game of Thrones" (2011-2019). Wlaschiha also played the Soviet prison guard Dmitri "Enzo" Antonov in "Stranger Things" season four.

Character actor Martindale plays Simone's mentor and friend, Mother Superior. She has a vast number of roles under her belt, starring in "Secretariat" (2010), " August: Osage County" (2013), and "The Americans" (2013-2018) and playing an animated version of herself in "BoJack Horseman" (2014-2020). More recently, she's appeared in "The Watcher" (2022) and "Cocaine Bear" (2023).

Herbers plays Mathilde, one of the women tasked with protecting the Holy Grail. She previously played Dr. Helen Prins in "Manhattan" (2014-2015) and Emily in "Westworld" (2016-2021).
