We Just Got Our First Look at Evan Peters as Andy Warhol in AHS — Prepare to Freak Out

Technology is pretty advanced these days, but we promise, Andy Warhol was NOT reincarnated — that's actually Evan Peters in full costume for American Horror Story: Cult. Ryan Murphy, creator of the spooky series, gave fans a sneak peek at Peters in character, and we never expected a blue-haired Kai to be able to transform like that right before our eyes. It's crazy what makeup can do!

Season seven of the series will feature flashback moments where Peters plays powerful cult leaders like Charles Manson, David Koresh, Jim Jones, and Andy Warhol. While Warhol didn't have a dangerous group of followers like the other men, he did have a loyal group of admirers and a cult-like personality.

When Peters found out he would be portraying Warhol, he told Entertainment Weekly, he "immediately started doing research on him and just fell in love with him." Adding, "I thought he was amazing and the '60s and The Factory and that whole world to live in is so fun. So it was great to learn about him but challenging to get his mannerisms and his speech and his state of mind. I would just listen to him constantly."

We can't wait to see Peters as Warhol during episode seven, where Lena Dunham will be playing Valerie Solanas, the woman most known for attempting to murder Warhol.
