Los Angeles-based prefab company Connect:Homes is launching a new line of affordable, sustainable modular homes, which are perfect for a backhouse, guesthouse, or office space. To celebrate the launch, Connect:Homes has teamed up with West Elm and designer Kishani Perera to outfit the first Connect 2.1 Modern Prefab Pop-Up. This beautifully decorated prefab was unveiled today at Dwell on Design, and you can check it out in person through June 24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

In case you can't make it to Dwell on Design, the Connect:Homes prefab showcase will be on view in Venice, CA, in July and August, where it will host a series of open houses and events, and can also be viewed by appointment. Keep clicking to take a peek!

Today, West Elm released some lovely pieces from its Fall line, and we have to admit we're smitten. We're particularly impressed with the new South Africa collaborations the brand is featuring, with 16 different South African artisans' works front and center in the Fall collection. Explaining the collaboration, West Elm creative director Vanessa Holden told Elle Decor, "It's amazing how varied the voices are [in South Africa]. There are influences from so many different backgrounds layered on the foundational African culture. I love the idea of those multiple points of inspiration coming together. It makes for a real melting pot point of view."

Hitting stores and ecommerce during the first week of January, the new Spring collection is filled with vibrant colors, ethnic textiles, classic prints, and beautiful ceramics. New collaborations, such as an exclusive line of eco-friendly, nonstick pots and pans made by GreenPan, more indoor gardening vessels from Shane Powers, prints from PATCH NYC, stoneware from DBO Home, and ceramics from Stephen Antonson, will be introduced as well.
