That's certainly one question that stumps (and annoys!) this geek girl all the time. A recent piece in The New York Times hits the spot with a guide to increasing your gadgets' battery life. Among the article's suggestions are to turn off WiFi and Bluetooth functions, and check your "push" function at the door — it's a battery drainer for sure.

I've been noticing a big trend in recycled and eco-friendly products lately, and my latest find is no exception. The Recycled Keyboard Clutch is made from old computer keyboard keys. Of note: they aren't in any particularly order — no QWERTY or other strangely themed arrangement.

You can help the planet by unplugging your gadgets when they aren't in use, trading in your used video games for cash instead of tossing them in the landfill, and even repurposing your ink cartridges if you're on the crafty side. But what do you do with the gadgets and gizmos you just don't want to deal with anymore — like all those CDs you've added into your digital library?
Obviously, you can donate them or drop them off at the appropriate recycling center!

In a world where vajacials are listed on a spa's menu and disturbingly wacky ladyparts trends are thrown our way, here's something to add to the excess — the Va J-J Visor ($10 for six). I groan at the name, although I suppose it's slightly better than the Hoo Ha Hoodie.
Similar to a cup for women, this gynecologist-invented disposable covering is intended to protect the dainty bits.
