This PLUG + PLAY wireless speaker system came about during a ten week industrial design bachelor degree project whereby research was conducted to better identify the needs of the user. There's something about an electrical outlet that just gets the best of an infant's curiosity. As soon as they are able to crawl around, tots want to know what's up with those slots in the walls.

I'm sure most of you are planning on catching a public fireworks show this 4th of July. Watching them can be really exciting, but did you know you can risk noise-induced hearing loss?
Here's how loud some common summer sounds are:
Having a conversation: 60 decibels
Mowing the lawn: 95
Riding a motorcycle: 110
Listening to a live concert: 120
Exploding your own firecrackers (which is NOT safe by the way): 150
Watching fireworks: 130 to 190, depending on how far away you are
10 seconds of a loud fireworks display may be just as dangerous for your ears as an hour of pushing the lawn mower.

I'm not sure if it's the fact that this Cassette Tape USB Hub is, well, a cassette tape that makes me a little bit excited, or if it's the fact that I can hook up four more peripherals to my machine when I need it. Having some extra ports can come in super handy when I'm rocking my stylish netbook and need to connect my camera and external hard drive at the same time. Or you know, to plug in my USB mini fridge to cool my Diet Coke.

David Beckham took a break from his basketball routine to bring Cruz and Romeo out to see the LA Kings play the Nashville Predators in a hockey game on Saturday night. Victoria and Brooklyn didn't go along for the outing, but she was out solo earlier in the day to pay a visit to her gym as she keeps plugging away on her intense workout regimen. Victoria is also apparently gearing up to take on more responsibility work-wise, as she's rumored to be thinking of starting a modeling agency with her manager Simon Fuller.
