This Just In: Matthew Perry Shops the Market

Actor Matthew Perry recently purchased a humble 1,701-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home Los Angeles' Studio City neighborhood for $883,000. The listing for the property reads:

This warm and inviting 3 bedroom home offers a great living room, elegant dining area, big kitchen with breakfast area and Italian tile floors. Inside laundry, hardwood throughout, spectacular yard with sparkling pool and grass.

If you remember correctly, Perry recently made a baller purchase of a modern Runyon Canyon manse for $4.5 million. So, this modest fixer-upper will clearly not be his primary residence. I am eager to see what he does with it, though. I'm thinking he should paint the exposed brick fireplace white, stain the hardwood floors a darker tone, ditch the mirrored closet doors and vertical blinds, and replace the kitchen cabinets (or paint them) and go for open shelving above. The pool area isn't in bad shape, though the brick wall could be removed, and some sculptural pieces, planters, and lounge chairs should be added. The front of the house could use some landscaping as well. What do you think?

Nice and New: Studio K's Pen and Paper City Prints

If my Love Your City? Say It With Art slideshow hit the right note, I've got some more city-centric artwork that may be up your alley. Charlotte-based artist Studio K's Pen and Paper City Prints are exhaustively beautiful. First drawn by hand with pen and paper, the illustrations are essentially city maps made with hatchmarks. Currently in stock are Manhattan, Boston, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, Paris, and Prague prints ($35-$80), as well as some originals ($140-$350). But on January 18, over 15 new pieces will be up for sale, including new cities and new sizes. Not surprisingly, I'm loving this San Francisco Diptych ($40) but the detail put into each map truly amazes me.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick Hold Hands Amid Split Rumors

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick denied the recent breakup rumors with a show of solidarity holding hands while shopping in LA yesterday. After also spending the weekend together, the two shopped in Beverly Hills and Studio City, including one stop where Brit tried on headwear ranging from a crown to Minnie Mouse ears. She's been in LA spending time with Jason and her other special guys Sean Preston and Jayden James. Brit and Jason have been together for a year, and this week isn't the first time they've faced stories of a split, but it looks like they're still going strong - perhaps it will inspire another edition of her famous BS report.

Tonight on Bravo: Inside the Actors Studio With Sarah Jessica Parker

The hour is almost upon us, folks, and while some people are a little tired of the promotional blitz surrounding the Sex and the City movie, I am still curious - and excited - to see the ladies reunited on screen. Another thing I don't tire of is hearing an actress I love describe her work and career. It's fascinating to hear in-depth discussions about a successful working actor's filmography.

That's why I'm looking forward to Sarah Jessica Parker's appearance on Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio tonight. She'll hopefully give up more juicy details on the SATC movie, though I'm excited to hear about the rest of her career and life before Carrie Bradshaw. I hope James Lipton covers her work on Square Pegs and projects from early in her career like Footloose and L.A. Story.

Will you forever see Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw? Think you'll tune in tonight? Also: any tips on how I can make my hair look as lovely as hers does in this photo?

Jennifer Aniston Gets "Sexy Comfortable" With Letterman

The Bounty Hunter costars Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler arrived at Letterman's studio a few hours apart yesterday, with her interview on last night and his airing tomorrow. Gerard filmed his chat early since he and Jennifer will be hitting the red carpet together tonight for their NYC premiere - we'll be twittering live from tonight's red carpet, so stay tuned! Jen and Gerry have been making the morning show circuit in the city as well, including stops by GMA and Regis and Kelly, where she defended her sexy Golden Globes gown. When chatting with Dave, Jennifer asked why he wasn't wearing the special tie she gave him from her GQ cover and chatted about sharing her "sexy comfortable" home in Architectural Digest - watch the interview below.

Robbie Williams Responds to Take That Reunion Rumours

Dressed in funky shades and blue suede shoes, Robbie Williams met up yet again with Gary Barlow yesterday, as they were both spotted heading into Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Although Robbie missed out on the Take That boys' night out earlier in the week, his daytime meetings are continuing to feed to rumours that the lads are likely to reunite. A GMTV reporter confronted Robbie about the rumours as he made his way into the studio, and Robbie joked that they're "thinking of entering the first five-man bobsleigh team for the UK". Cheryl Leans On Derek as Ashley's Accused of Fifth Affair

Following her arrival in Los Angeles on Thursday, Cheryl Cole's been busy in a recording studio in Santa Monica over the weekend. It's not all been work though, as Cheryl has been spending time with her "Parachute" video costar Derek Hough, having lunch with him at Houston's in Century City on Saturday. Like many celebs, Cheryl has communicated through her clothing, wearing a t-shirt with "I Left My Heart in Beverly Hills" for a night out. With new revelations coming out about Ashley's infidelities, taking the total to five women, Cheryl's finding it hard to stick to her plan and work through their problems. She reportedly sent Ashley a text telling him to move out, and a statement about their divorce has apparently already been drawn up.

Love It or Hate It? Times Square Station 42nd Street Chair

American artist and metalsmith Boris Bally was commissioned by the New York City Transit Museum to create his Times Square Station 42nd Street Chair ($2,200). Each one-of-a-kind chair is handmade in his studio in Providence, RI, with pieces hand-cut and edges shaped and filed by hand from reflective aluminum signs inspired by New York's famous MTA graphics. I'd love to see one of these in a New York City kitchen, living room, or even an office. What do you say?

Ewan Takes Eve to See Letterman & Explains Embrace With Jim

Ewan McGregor was wrapped up warm as he arrived at the David Letterman show studios in New York City yesterday to film an interview. He was accompanied by his wife Eve, and the couple looked similar in their dark coats and black shades, and Eve was wearing some eye catching bright blue nail polish! David talked to Ewan about being knighted in France alongside his I Love You Phillip Morris costar Jim Carrey. The pair play a couple in the movie and recreated one of their kisses once they'd received their medals - you can check out the video under the jump!
