I'm imagining a cross between Nick Olsen's tented workspace and interior designer Marjorie Skouras's oversize indoor topiary bedroom.

I often forget about Pier 1 because it doesn't do e-commerce, and there isn't a store very close to me. But that's not to say the retailer doesn't have a great selection — and great bargains.
