Not even Justin himself was safe from the slime at this weekend's Kids' Choice Awards - one of the more laid back (and definitely messiest) awards shows that Hollywood has to offer. JT took home the award for favorite male singer (though he did lose his Best Burp title to the whole audience's belch), while Dakota and Adam Sandler snagged orange blimps for male and female favorite movie star. Winning isn't everything, though - a few lucky presenters including (a seriously buff) Steve Carell and Tobey Maguire took part in the sliming, too.

There are so many odd ingredients in high-end beauty treatments these days, from bull semen to pigeon excrement to snail trail slime, but there's only a little information out there about how — or if — these things work, as the Los Angeles Times examines. A lot of these treatments seem a bit gimmicky to me, and I can't help but wonder if many of them are just a way to charge more for the same old deep conditioner. Yesterday, the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards hit Los Angeles, for all those young and young at heart. Despite the rumours, Britney Spears didn't show – but that certainly didn't stop the fun! Orlando Bloom, host Jack Black and Harrison Ford had Nick's trademark gunge poured all over them, Miley Cyrus performed to the delight of the tween audience and many TV, movie and music stars showed, including Will Smith, Cameron Diaz, Rihanna, Usher, Ashton Kutcher and Janet Jackson.
