With a motto like "Design for All," it's no secret that Target's made a name for bringing great design to the masses. Unfortunately, though, there's a lot to sift through to get to the best of the inventory, whether you're in-store or online. I figured I'd do a little work for you and highlight 10 high-design furniture finds that I love.

If I ever discover that John Lennon wrote "All You Need Is Love" about a set of patio chairs, I won't be surprised. Sometimes all a piece of furniture headed for a landfill needs is a little affection. High-Heeled Foot in the Door recently transformed her set of four dated, slightly dirty patio chairs into cheerful, stylish, and clean seating with only $41 and a little gumption.

This time, making their streamlined, mid-century-inspired designs available to the younger, broker set. Blu Dot has debuted an exclusive collection of small modern furniture exclusively for Urban Outfitters.

Cruising through the portfolio of French photographer Pierre-Jean Verger, I stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of this living room. Stunning architectural details (mantel, moldings) such as these are a perk of many French homes and add instant elegance. But sometimes these features will make a room look more formal than it's meant to be.

While there's something charming and nostalgic about an old-school desk chair, it's about time it had a modern makeover. But, instead of a hefty compartment to store pencils and paperwork, and a writing surface, you can set your notebook computer on its curved arm and call on your hard drive for storage.

I'd venture to guess that all of us have a bed and bedside table in our bedrooms. But, seating isn't always a given. If your bed is the only place to sit in your room, it's easy to simply use the room for sleeping.
Sometimes all you need to complete a small sitting room or outdoor space is a few floor cushions, a cozy throw, and a tea table. But floor cushions also make great spare seating when you've got extra guests in the house, and they're ideal for picnics as rooftop furniture. Do you have any?Source
