If you have some friends who can't get enough of Hello Kitty lamps or tongue-in-cheek embroidered throw pillows when it comes to decorating their homes, don't despair, embrace it! Some of my favorite friends' abodes are peppered with fun accessories from Kid Robot, Upper Playground, Sanrio, and other hip and youthful stores. Maybe you don't want your pals to take the theme as far as they did at the Hello Kitty gate lounge in Terminal 2 of the Taipei International Airport, but I think some fun, arrested adolescent accents in a home can provide a lovely youthful spirit.

When we checked out the latest Hello Kitty pet products, I couldn't help but remember one of my fave celebripups, spokespersondog Wednesday from Girls Next Door. This Pekingese is already a TV star all on her own – check out "Winnie" modeling some Hello Kitty gear . .

Hello Kitty! The popular (and often pink) line was recently extended to pet products – once again letting people get their animals in on their fave brands. In the trademark sugary style, there was a Hello Kitty Sweet Suite showing off some of the new additions to the existing items.

I see a lot of Hello Kitty gadgets everyday, but I never considered what it might be like to be the parent or spouse of a pink-obsessed fairy princess until I became a fan of Hello Kitty Hell. The site was created by the husband of a Hello Kitty fanatic as an attempt to process, cope and poke fun at his wife's obsession. He posts all the smiley pink goodness he can find, like this 24-karat gold, Swarovski crystal beads covered Hello Kitty Business card case that costs $225.

I almost said "what is" but that would be sacriligious. Hello Kitty, of course, is the patron saint of Sanrio, but she has a few cute competitors. Who's your fave?

I'm all about change when it has to do with evolving and improving, but seriously — first Strawberry Shortcake gets totally transformed (I love Strawberry Shortcake Gen 1 much better), and now Sanrio is coming out with new characters called Cherinacherine that bear a striking resemblance to Hello Kitty?!
OK, so I've kinda been slacking in the Hello Kitty department lately, but that doesn't mean Hello Kitty needs some younger and plushier competition! I guess Sanrio will be releasing Cherinacherine bags, toys, cell phone straps and all the other goodies that we'll use to come in HK.

Look, I'm not about to tell grown women what they can and can't have on their laptops, so here you go: the Hello Kitty laptop by Epson. Sure, I might advise you to just put Hello Kitty stickers on your laptop and save the extra money and trouble of buying a new one (although if Sanrio is working with Epson, I'd hope there'd be some sweet games built in at least), but I am officially not judging. After all, I'm finding it slightly more palatable than the Swarovski crystal-covered Hello Kitty laptop!

Adding to its collection of character-themed USB drives, Mimobot recently released three new Hello Kitty flash drives to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Hello Kitty. I'm loving their cute, colorful designs: Hello Kitty Apple, Hello Kitty Fun in Fields, and Hello Kitty x.
The drives are available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB (starting at $25) and come loaded with Sanrio-themed wallpaper, screensavers, icons, avatars, and videos.

Violence was inspired by the produce section today. Her honey crisp — my favorite kind of apple — getup is too cute. Pairing her fruity top with yellow jeans emits an extra summery vibe, kinda like apples and bananas!

So many of you loved Hello Kitty's collection for MAC, but even if you write the mouthless feline off as a just-for-kids thing, you might want to check out this spot. Designed to promote the makeup line, it's one of the more bizarre and entertaining things I've seen in the world of beauty. Think Alice in Wonderland meets "What You Waiting For?"
