We've seen some pretty luxe dog beds in the past but these take the cake. The new Chien Vivant Dog Beds from Barron's House of Treasures ring in at about $1,500 for the customized, crystallized or monogrammed masterpieces. I won't ask if you think these are craveworthy or cringeworthy 'til the end so take a peek and then speak for yourself.

Our favorite Frenchie, Samson, got an upgrade last week. Obviously he loves his new bed, and it's no wonder — look at the size of that thing! This bed could probably fit a Golden Retriever, and it leaves me wondering how many of your pets have bigger-than-life beds.

I'm all for oversized handbags but even I don't have this much stuff! Kidding. This is a pet bed not a purse.

I can see this canine chaise chilling in the wraparound, screened patio of my dreams. You know on my own private island. All jokes aside, this lil lounger comes with a drawer to stash your pets' things (or a DIY trundle if you're creative).

At first glance, you may mistake these pet beds for the ever popular Crocs. Now, the shoes themselves fill me with questions (how? why?

The Caspian PilloWrap is an exclusive product from my new favorite pet supply shop here in San Francisco, Chengoo Boutique. Luckily for those of you not living here, they've got an awesome online selection where you can pick out a PilloWrap ($59) (and other awesome goodies) for your lucky pets, too.
This handmade comforter is perfect for those chilly cats but, if you've got a hot dog, it folds up into a cushion for those travel times (or even a tiny bed for your small fries).

When I first spotted this bed on moderncat, I immediately figured the pretty product would be way over my budget. However, imagine my surprise when I realized it costs just $70, not super cheap, but not as extravagant as some we've seen. The eco-tastic creation comes from natural banana leaves and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in your home – makes me wish I had a kitty to pamper!

When geeksugar spotted this super luxe bed on Born Rich, it totally prompted a discussion of how much is too much to spend on a bed for furry friends. I think we can all agree that the $1,000-$3,000 price tag for this 22-karat gold thread bed is extreme (even for those who love spoiling pets), and it's not even close to the $24,000 that the human version costs! While I can see spending more money on a long lasting item like a bed, 'cause my dog actually sleeps in one, how much is too much to you?

Although I am all about providing proper and ergonomically correct bedding for North, I have to admit that the $1,000 price tag on this Pet Revolution bed made my jaw drop.
The Scan bed does have its pluses: a reversible micro suede cover lets you change the look of the bed on a whim, and the stain and water resistant material keeps you from working too hard to keep it clean. But a whole grand and there's not even a Tempur-Pedic mattress under there?

The dog days of Summer have arrived and I'm looking for the latest way to cherish (and cool off) my hot dog – I think I've found just the thing! The new iCool Pet Mats ($25) come in two colors (blue and pink), two shapes (rectangle and oval), and two sizes for those pets large and small. When I first spotted this product I thought it was a gigantic ice pack but, turns out, you just add water and an absorbing polymer creates this soft, gel-like mat to keep pup cool – no refrigeration needed!
