Unless you're incredibly polite and believe that curiosity really did kill a cat, you've probably peeked into someone else's bathroom cabinet. I know that I have — in fact, I'm pretty sure I did it on my second date with my now-fiancé. Since I've moved in, the medicine cabinet's gotten a little more loaded.

We've all got bathroom essentials to store that may not necessarily be for all eyes to see (you know what I mean), and of course we've got to have a healthy supply of first aid supplies. There's no reason, though, to throw them in a messy drawer, or let them pile up on the bathroom counter. With these red cross medicine cabinets, you can bring a little bit of pharmacy chic into your home without compromising your counterspace, and you don't have to be Swiss to own one.

Most of you said that you do indeed hide beauty items from guests to help savor the good stuff for yourself, and this got me to thinking. Since we're spilling the beans here, what do you have to say for yourself when it comes to peeping at other people's medicine cabinets? My guy friend had an early holiday/housewarming party on Friday night. He wanted to keep everyone downstairs since the upstairs was a mess, but there was a long line for the bathroom so I asked him if I could use the one on the second floor — he obliged. It's a split so the sink and shower is in the room next door to the toilet.

Whether we like it or not, cold and flu season is officially upon us. We do everything we can to strengthen our immune system and take care of our bodies with plenty of sleep and healthful food, but the germs often find their way in no matter how hard we try to keep them out. If you were lucky to dodge seasonal sicknesses last Winter than you probably have stale meds in your cabinet from the last time you were ill.

When you're at a new boyfriend's house for the first time, or at a dinner party at a friend of a friend's home, does your nosey side get the best of you? Snooping is a no no, but let's be honest, we've all done it! You can tell a lot about someone by what they keep in their medicine cabinet - some people are prepared for anything, others store the bare necessities, and some stock a mini pharmacy in their own home.
