Soon, I'll be switching out my lace noir for some light lace. I can already picture this feminine texture paired with denim skinnies for a hardcore '90s vibe or with nude heels and a girlie counterpart for the ultimate ethereal aura. I love the crisp white hues, but pretty creams, light grays, and lilacs are also calling my name. Spring, here I come . . .

Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington sat front row at Ralph Lauren and witnessed the Fall throwback to the '90s: long, floral print dresses, romantic peasant sleeves, and a return to classic menswear. The runway featured layers of blazers and waistcoats over a variety of heavy fabrics and Fall's must-have accessory: lace fingerless gloves.

I love it when this happens: when someone wears an unlikely combination, whether it be colors or themes, and they totally pull it off. Eva was her usual bonhomie self at the Sherlock Holmes premiere in NYC and combined menswear with girlie girl. Her ivory lace dress was made 10 times cooler by a two-tone blazer. Interesting black accessories, including a holiday-ready embellished headband, add further interest. A hottie in true form.

Trend Alert: Lace Leggings

The penchant for lace has been around for several seasons, but it seems to be reaching a climax through the festive period as increasing amount of the fabric appear on the High Street. I have noticed a lot of celebrities wearing lace leggings to mixed success. Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted in '80s attire wearing a cropped pair on the set of the Sex and the City movie, and then Stella McCartney wore a pair of lace paneled leggings from her own line (£736) at her Christmas lights party. Since then both Zoe Salmon and Lisa Snowdon have been spotted rocking the item as well. Will you be wearing lace leggings this winter?

When I saw bebelicious, there was no doubt in my mind that I had to give her the spotlight. She deserves it for her pretty avant-garde outfit. The lace blazer is totally unique, and it lends a femme touch to her baggy harem pants. The layered necklace and tan pumps serve as delicate accessories.

Trend Alert: Lace Blouse

If you want to really indulge your feminine side this season then why not get yourself a lace blouse? There are so many currently available on the High Street with pretty cape sleeves.

Dare to bare by wearing your blouse over a black bra with a blazer or tuxedo jacket. Alternatively, hint at the trend with a lace panel blouse (£152). I would wear a lace top with tailored trousers for an androgynous look.

Kova & T Lace Bell Bottoms: Love It or Hate It?

OK, I love lace, I love bell bottoms, but put the two together, and you get these Kova & T Lace Bell Bottoms ($165). I've already spotted a couple of hipster gals sporting this look, but I'm still on the fence. They remind me of Cher - not in a good way - and I can't get over the whole goth vibe. On the flip side, they might look groovy with a vest and platforms - what say you?
