The new rom-com The Bounty Hunter starring Jennifer Anniston and Gerard Butler premieres in theaters today. A tale of a man hired to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife, the plot is as predictable as it sounds. But there's no doubt I'll watch this guilty pleasure, if only for the interior design eye candy. I just caught up on the pilot of The CW's new NYC socialite reallity series, High Society, which is centered on the much-photographed and recently single Tinsley Mortimer. Have you seen it? While I wasn't particularly impressed with its spoiled cast of characters, the show's interiors were to die for! She's Out of My League, out today starring Jay Baruchel, looks über-cute - like one of those predictable romantic comedies I can't resist. While it may not be winning an Oscar next year, it certainly deserves applause for the set design. I would totally move right into this living room. But better yet, it doesn't look very hard to recreate. This sort of minimalism is something I strive for, but I enjoy shopping for accessories too much to ever make it work. I love how the graphic wallpaper, cherry blossom branches, and interesting coffee table catchall bowl add a more intricate, girlish element to the streamlined, masculine furniture. Get the Look: Scandinavian Kitchen

I spotted this charming kitchen in Skona Hem, and was instantly compelled to change the entire design scheme of my kitchen, thanks to its pretty, Scandinavian look.
I love the color palette here, which is overwhelmingly white and blue. However, those colors are broken up by the retro pink Smeg fridge ($2,000). If you want another color, no worries; the Smeg is avialable in a rainbow of shades.

Much of this look can be easily reproduced with flea market or chain store finds. The plate display rack can be replicated by using a simple Ikea shelf (see widget below) that's been augmented with painted white dowels, to hold the plates. Since the tablecloth, not the table, is the focus of the room, you can also use any oval table, and then spend more time finding the perfect tablecloth. Use white or blue flowerpots, planted with a blooming plant such as a pink kalanchoe, to reflect the color of the Smeg fridge. You can also re-cover a dining room chair with a toile or fabric of your choice to match the look of the kitchen.

I can't wait until Valentine's Day arrives in theaters on Friday. Not only will it give me a much-needed star-studded romantic comedy fix, but it definitely has some decorating eye candy in store too.
