I recently polled you on your love for Todd Oldham's ice cream cone carnation floral arrangement, and you were pretty split on it. I on the other hand was not a fan; although in general, I feel that the world-renowned designer can do no wrong. Today is no exception to that notion, though.

Alzheimer’s Disease Toll Increasing
More than 5 million Americans now have Alzheimer’s disease, and the number could increase to 16 million by mid-century, according to a 2007 report from the Alzheimer’s Association.
New Drug Indication
In 2006, the FDA expanded the use of donepezil (Aricept) to include treatment of people with severe dementia associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Donepezil was previously approved only for people with mild-to-moderate dementia.

For half my life, the letters NOU have stood for one thing: Nation of Ulysses. The Washington DC band fused fashion and punk and politics and theater in an inimitable way, earning singer Ian Svenonius the title of "Sassiest Boy in America" from Sassy magazine before the band even released its first record. But now there's a new NOU in town, and it's also somewhat musical.
