Do You Chill Glasses in the Freezer?
Yes, I always have a couple of glasses chilling in the freezer for cold beer and icy martinis.
Only during the Summer when the weather is really hot.

The only things in my freezer are ice, frozen berries, puff pastry, and vodka. There was a time when my freezer was full of tupperware, but I never ended up eating anything I froze, so I stopped. Although I make soups and casseroles, I prefer to eat the leftovers rather than freeze them for a later date.

When you're painting your interiors, and the task takes more than one day, it's a pain in the butt to have to wash all of your brushes and supplies whenever you take a break. So instead of washing all of the paint off my brushes, I just pop them in the freezer in a plastic bag and defrost them when I need to get back to my paintstaking project. If you've got room to spare in your freezer, you might as well keep your brushes frozen even after your project is done.

With summer on its way I thought I'd share with you one of my most simple tips. If you love a glass of iced coffee, but hate when it gets all watery, then do yourself a favor and make coffee ice cubes. By making coffee ice cubes you'll ensure your iced coffee won't get diluted and you'll have a good use for this morning's leftover coffee.

I'm really bad with throwing things away, it is definitely a direct result of my parents branding my brain with the idea that wasting is bad. Now older, I agree, but there comes a point where health is involved. I was thrilled to come across these guidelines from MSNBC.com on when it's time to chuck the ground chuck that's been in your freezer for years:
- FRIDGE:
- Milk should always be put on a shelf and never on the door.
- Eggs should be stored in the container they came in.

So you've gone all out and made a great recipe that called for egg yolks only. It came out great, but what did you do with all the egg whites? If you normally toss them in the trash, then it's time to rethink your strategy.

I love to freeze things for later, it just makes life easier. However, cleaning out the freezer is just not fun-- it's cold in there and once things freeze into geometric shapes it's hard to tell what they once were. Plus, with all the food contamination scares out there you don't want to eat something funky from your own freezer.
