One of Danny Seo's great tips in the Casa Interview was to repurpose your bird bath. Danny suggested that you fill your bird bath with ice and use it as a cooling station for beverages. When the party is over, let the ice melt and our feathered friends have a cool drink to enjoy.

I recently caught up with Danny Seo for breakfast at the Philippe Starck-designed Clift Hotel in San Francisco, and couldn't help but stop to take a gander at all of its surrealist furnishings while I was there. This cantaloupe-colored armchair, which is screenprinted with an image of cane chair, struck me as something that'd be easy to replicate — if you've got drawing and printing skills up your sleeve. It has a tongue-in-cheek trompe-l'œil effect, elevating a simple seat to something out of the ordinary.

As you may know, I'm a huge fan of Danny Seo, the green lifestyles expert whose blog, products, and books make it easy to live a more eco lifestyle. I recently chatted with Danny over the phone about some smart, eco Summer-entertaining ideas. For ideas on how to keep mosquitoes away without harmful chemicals, get your grill going in a more eco manner, and much more, check out the video below.

On a recent trip to New York, Danny Seo stopped by an Anthropologie store to admire this chandelier. He concluded that it's worth every penny of its $1,100 price tag, since it's handmade with wire attached to this upcycled material. While it's not a natural material per se, you will find it in a natural environment.

Green design guru Danny Seo's cool home is featured in the April issue of Philadelphia magazine, in the article "Seo Cool." The newly renovated Bucks County, PA, home is full of eco. Make sure to read the whole article to read more about his home, and to also check out his recommendations for area dining, shopping, and antique stores.

Danny Seo recently made some pillows out of feed bags he scooped up at an old general store in Pennsylvania for a buck each, by simply stuffing and stitching them. I love this fresh twist on an antique; it's unexpected. But, there's also quite a lot you could do with feed bags, such as upholstering or making tea towels, or framing them.

Danny Seo recently wrote that he's been getting his creative juices flowing in preparation for a new book. A recent crafty project was stringing vintage wooden beads onto a wire dry cleaner hanger. I think it's adorable, and seems like it might cause less wear on your clothes from the poking wire hanger.

I love this relaxed, cozy dining room in Danny Seo's Delaware River cottage. Danny upholstered the chairs himself using an unexpected, upcycled item. Can you guess what it was?

I've been tracking some of the cool changes that Danny Seo has been making in his new home, but I'd forgotten about his cute Delaware River cottage. Danny had been holding on to it for a while, but now he's ready to sell, which means that some lucky person can snap up this two-bedroom, one-bath, 1,076-square-foot bungalow cottage in Erwinna, PA.
