Day-lab DIY is using vintage Charles Harper cross-stitch patterns to make unique framed art pieces, pillow covers, and other gifts. A huge fan of Charley Harper myself, I'd love to get my hands on some of those vintage patterns, but that's unlikely. So, Todd Oldham's book Charley Harper: An Illustrated Life might be the next best thing.Source

Alexa Chung bagged herself the cover of Harper's Bazaar this month as she is the star of the natural issue. Inside the May issue is a shoot with Alexa where she poses in romantic gowns by Charles Anastase, Fendi, William Tempest and Nina Ricci.

By now you must have heard that Starbucks is closing 600 of its stateside coffee shops. Last week Starbucks released the official list of the closing stores with a grand total of 616 closures. The closing stores are company-operated stand alone locations; no bookstore, super market, or airport Starbucks will be shuttered.
