There are few things more annoying than having your car broken into, except maybe getting an obnoxious note from the burglar telling you that you have "amazing taste in music" and that he won't use your credit cards and driver's license "after tonight at least." Aaargh. Nothing like being a smart-ass criminal.

Dog doors are dangerous things. Even a house in the safest of neighborhoods cannot protect itself from a wild creature that wants to enjoy the comforts of the great indoors. Take this curious neighborhood raccoon, for example.

At first it was just a weird coincidence that days before his Spring 2008 London Fashion Week show, Christopher Kane had 24 leather dresses stolen from his East London Studio. But then, after a little more thought, the attack on the Roger Vivier store on London's Sloane Street came to mind - hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of accessories were taken in a June smash-and-grab raid there.
The fashion burglaries continue: early yesterday morning, a gang on mopeds took sledgehammers to the windows of Luella Bartley's new London store and sped off with more than $20,000 worth of handbags.

Kirsten Dunst wore all black and a smile as she left the NYC Supreme Court yesterday afternoon. She took the stand to testify about being robbed in 2007, when thieves stole personal items from her hotel room while she was in the city filming How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. Her costar Simon Pegg was also in the courtroom to give a statement about his iPod and digital camera being taken, but the jury's still out as to whether he and Kirsten will see their alleged burglars face justice.

Orlando Bloom arrived in LA yesterday after learning that his West Coast home had been burglarized. The thieves reportedly made off with around $500,000 worth of jewelry, but Orlando still cracked a big smile as he peered out his car window. Seems like the actor has his priorities in order and knows what's important in life — he even told photographers that the news was "not a story" and that people are "suffering a lot worse" all over the world.
