There's a reason Pantone named Mimosa color of the year. It's just the cheerful, nurturing hue we need in this downtrodden economy. It helps our wallets too if we can have our Mimosa at a discount.

I absolutely love love love this Anthropologie Bresson Rocker ($1,798). I think it looks both modern and classic, and its leather looks downright supple. I always have fun sitting in a rocking chair, too.

The Anthropologie One-Lump-or-Two Lamp ($198) is quite cute in a British country cottage way, and I adore its espresso cup finial. But, I'd say it's a tad overpriced for a table lamp that looks so crafty, and that doesn't come with a shade. Luckily, there's a more affordable alternative that can be customized to fit your color scheme.

On a recent browsing (and buying) trip at Target, I couldn't help but suspect that Target and Anthropologie were taking inspiration from the same sources, since many of the stores' home interiors items looked surprisingly similar. The Gladiator Raven ($648) reminds me of something a steampunk enthusiast would have in her home. Still for that price, I'd expect this wee statue to stand a little taller than 12 inches high!

Another wild trend for Spring in the realm of Luxotica is bohemian bags. These embellished handbags will instantly perk up any ensemble with their hippie-meets-tribal aesthetic. I like how they give off an ethnic vibe without going over the top, especially when paired with a neutral palette.
