Are foxes the new It animal in the decorating world? From the amount of these sly creatures I've found in catalogs and art sites lately, my answer is yes. It also doesn't hurt that Wes Anderson's new movie The Fantastic Mr. Fox features a too-cool fox voiced by the always awesome George Clooney. So, you might want to jump on this animal motif bandwagon!

Start your collection with this Fantastic Mr. Fox Pillow ($83) from Etsy seller angharadjefferson. This awesome vintage '60s fabric has been embellished with a cool fox pattern by the artist, using a combination of hand embroidery and freehand machine drawing. The back of the cushion is a blue and white striped cotton, and is finished with a vintage button to close.

Cool Idea: An Interactive Trash Bin

British fashion designer Paul Smith and Design Museum director Deyan Sudjic today unveiled a five-foot "rabbit bin." Whenever a passerby drops rubbish in the bin, the bunny's ears light up. The bunny is part of the Design Museum Super Contemporary Exhibition in Covent Garden. I love the concept of making civic responsibility (such as keeping your city clean) whimsical and fun. Perhaps the streets of my fair city would be a little cleaner if there were rabbit bins here.

I love the old-time look of the illustrated ship on this new Thomas Paul Pillow ($80). Made from jute, it would look great on a slipcovered sofa in a Summer cottage overlooking the sea. If you're in favor of hares in your house, even outside of the Easter season, then you'll want to check out my favorite bunny home accents. One of my absolute favorite bunny finds is the Moooi Rabbit Lamp ($539). These ridiculous rabbits look as if they're trying to disguise themselves with their matching lampshades. Add a few of these lamps to your home, and you won't be able to stop smiling.
