Coveted Crib: Viceroy Villas by Kelly Wearstler

A flagship development in the Caribbean's British West Indies, the Viceroy Anguilla Resort and Residences, which is described as an "array of luxury homes comprised of individual villas, townhomes, and low-rise resort residence buildings," with "sophisticated and contemporary interiors" designed by Kelly Wearstler, has unveiled its model four-bedroom villa, which is open to buyers. Of the residences' design, Wearstler has said, "We used textiles and techniques from all over the world, including hand-carved wood pieces from Asia, hammered metalwork from India, and beaded artwork from Africa, which offer a visual contrast with the modern architecture." The Viceroy Anguilla Resort and Residences, I might add, is a Kor Hotel Group property — a company owned by Wearstler's husband. Few photos of the residences have been released, but when they are, you can count on Casa to bring them to you. I can assure you that they'll be fabulous, and all that the high-class elite dream of. . . . For now, here's a sneak peek.

Penelope Gets Tropical With Her Bikini and Javier

Penelope Cruz is treating herself to a little vacation after her work promoting Broken Embraces in Europe a few weeks ago, and last weekend she hit the beach in Anguilla showing off her bikini body. Last we saw Penelope, there were still baby bump whispers so what do you think - will these photos put to rest or encourage the pregnancy rumors? Either way, this is the latest of Penelope and Javier's romantic tropical getaways, which is just what she needs before getting back in her fancy clothes to promote her film before its worldwide release this Fall.

Javier Tackles Madrid on Foot

Javier Bardem had his headphones on yesterday for a stroll in Madrid, which just lost out to Rio de Janeiro as the site of the 2016 Olympics. He's home enjoying some rest in the Spanish capital, while his girlfriend and possible baby mama Penelope Cruz is off promoting her upcoming films Broken Embraces and Nine. The duo has spent lots of time together recently though, from a trip to LA to their romantic beachside vacation in Anguilla. Javier will soon be getting down to work as well, when he starts filming Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts.

Penelope and Javier Take LA Before He's on His Way

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were in LA over the weekend, but he was already on the go again Sunday as he arrived for a flight out of LAX. Penelope stayed behind, and yesterday afternoon she stepped out for a facial at Chez Gabriela. They were able to have a few days together in California and enjoy local favorites like a trip to In-N-Out on Friday. The couple recently shared a vacation in Anguilla where she sported a bikini amid pregnancy rumors. Javier is due on the set of Eat, Pray, Love soon, so hopefully he and Penelope had some fun times together before going their separate ways.

Beyonce and Jay-Z Deny Wedding Rumors

There are rumors that Beyonce and Jay-Z might be planning a secret wedding this weekend but now the denials are being released. Both of their reps have said that the two do not have any ceremony plans in the works. Beyonce is busy promoting Dreamgirls so whatever may be planned would have to end after the weekend so she could be back on her promotional tour. As for the wedding, well, here's more:

Beyoncé, 25, recently said that she and pals were planning a birthday party for Jay-Z, who turned 37 on Monday – not a wedding, Reuters reports.

But on Wednesday, the New York Post reported that the planned four-day bash was a smokescreen for a secret Caribbean wedding that was to include a ceremony at the Cap Juluca resort on Anguilla and a party aboard a yacht anchored off St. Barts.

Whatever their weekend plans, on Monday Beyoncé is due to appear on the red carpet for the Beverly Hills premiere of her new movie Dreamgirls.

Though the couple of nearly four years don't speak publicly about their relationship, Beyoncé recently told Elle that her song lyrics about cheating boyfriends don't reflect her own experience: "I'm sure people will read into that," she said, "but there's nothing to read into. Sorry to disappoint you!"

A Surprise Wedding for Beyonce and Jay-Z?

Beyonce is everywhere promoting Dreamgirls this week but could something bigger be about to go down in her life? Monday night she left her own premiere early to spend some time with Jay-Z. She said she had rented a private plane and was whisking him off to surprise him for his 37th birthday. She evidently has four days of partying planned as well. That's some birthday! Either that or there's more in store for Jay-Z than just blowing out candles. Here's more:

Knowles, Jay and some Def Jam executives were at STK on West 12th Street on Saturday talking about the four-day "party" - but insiders say it will be more than a birthday celebration. "Beyoncé is throwing Jay a four-day birthday party, but it's really a wedding," said one source. Guests, including family and close friends, were told to have passport applications filed by last Friday so they can attend the bash on a yacht in St. Barts. But insiders said the guests will also be ferried over to Anguilla for the wedding at Cap Juluca, a five-star resort with Moorish villas. Another spy said Knowles and Jay-Z had toured the site earlier this year and approved it for their nuptials. Reps for Knowles, Jay-Z and Cap Juluca didn't return calls or e-mails.

Beyonce always denies the wedding rumors but these two have been together for four years so it would not be surprising if they took it to the next level. However, the way these two love to party, a four day birthday bash wouldn't be out of the ordinary for them. Let's just hope that the wedding isn't a surprise for Jay-Z as well! Jay-Z and B are supposedly planning an insane $3 million wedding. It's no secret that these two like the finer things in life so we're not surprised they want the super hip hop wedding. I can only imagine the demands going on when a price tag like $3 mil is being thrown around. The Scoop reports:

The former Destiny’s Child member is planning a late November wedding on the Caribbean island of Anguilla, reports the tab. Guests at the bash will dine on $300,000 worth of Beluga caviar as well as lobster and Italian truffles and will wash it down with $200 bottles of Dom Perignon. Knowles’ wedding dress will be modeled after Princess Diana’s, reports the Star, and among the guests invited are Oprah Winfrey and U.N. head Kofi Annan.

An impediment to the marriage had been Beyoncé’s manager father, Matthew Knowles, and his misgivings about the 36-year-old Jay Z’s relationship with his 24-year-old daughter, but Matthew Knowles has apparently come around and given the romance his blessing.

“Beyoncé’s telling friends it will be ‘the wedding to end all weddings,’” according to the source. “Beyoncé feels like she’s living a fairy tale so why shouldn’t her wedding be equally magical?”
