Here they are — the nominees for the Oscars 2010! We're well into awards season with the Golden Globes and the Grammys over, and the BAFTAs and the Brits still to come. The Oscars is the big show though, the one they all want to win — so who's got those coveted nominations as read out by Anne Hathaway in Hollywood at 5.30am LA time!

We're finally closing in on the big day: the announcement of nominees for this year's Oscars! It all goes down this Tuesday, and I've been counting down my picks for who might end up on the Academy's final ballot. A few of the contenders seem pretty obvious — James Cameron for a Best Director nod?

Carey Mulligan wore shades as she strolled in Los Angeles, while back here in London she was named Best Actress and Rising Star for An Education at the Richard Attenborough Film Awards. They're voted for by regional journalists and typically provide an indication for what will happen at next month's BAFTAs, where Carey is also nominated in the same categories, and up against tough competition for Rising Star. We'll get to see Carey in several movies, some rumoured, and the trailer for her film with Shia LaBeouf Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (due out in the UK on 23 April) has just been released: check it out after the jump.

We're just a few days away from the 2010 Oscar nomination announcements — I'll be rising early on Feb. 2 to report who got a nod, but until then, I'm getting my predictions in now. I've already told you who I think will be up for best actor and best actress, and now here's another five I think are worthy of an Academy Award nod: the best supporting actors.
