I've told you about Fair Trade, and how it's so important to support companies and businesses with the Fair Trade label. Rapunzel, Divine Chocolate, and Sweet Earth Organic Chocolates are great companies to buy from.
Just to remind you, Fair Trade means that the farmers were given a fair price for their products, so they can in turn pay their workers the proper salary.

Adrian Grenier let his long curls flow free, but his face was looking as clean-shaven as ever as he headed into the El Rey Theatre to catch The Kills concert in LA on Wednesday night. Even though Entourage is already filming again, HBO is still going to keep us waiting until the Fall. Luckily we'll get to see more of Adrian on our small screens before then, since he'll be showing off his passion for the environment in a 13-part series called Alter Eco on the new Planet Green channel.

Subway recently announced a commitment to make itself a little more green. The chain's first "eco-store" opened earlier this month in Kissimmee, Florida, and it includes many environmentally friendly lighting and heating methods, as well as recycled products and furnishings. They've worked in collaboration with the U.S.

John Legend and Joel Madden were just a few of the stars that came out last night for the Billabong Second Annual Design for Humanity to Benefit Surfrider Foundation in LA. The foundation works to protect our oceans, so naturally eco-friendly Adrian Grenier made an appearance with his girlfriend Isabel Lucas. Adrian's been working overtime to encourage us to go green, kicking off his Alter Eco series last night — check out a clip of the show here.

Talk about a good business practice: PlanetDog uses all the leftover scraps and seconds from their super popular Orbee-Tuff products to create these sleek alter-eco toys. The remnants that would otherwise be wasted are regrinded to produce these 100 percent recycled playthings. Add the trademark peppermint scent (and I am assuming flavor!) to get a great freshener for puppy breath.
