Pro skater Chad Knight has made his bed, and now he's gonna profit from it. His Shred Bed (inquire for price) features a headboard and footboard made of skateboards. It seems like skateboards are everywhere in the design world these days (see here and here).

After a weekend of grilling and recipe experimentation, my father and I faced a refrigerator full of food. While we could have eaten the baked beans, ribs, and salads on their own, I came up with a genius new way to use leftovers — as toppings on pizza! For $3 we purchased a "skin" — an extra-large pizza dough with no toppings — from a local pizzeria.

Last night's episode of Secret Diary of a Call Girl was the funniest installment so far, with some great one-liners from Belle and Ben, as Belle attempts to leave escort work for an office job to win Alex back, but the love triangle gets even more complicated.
Episode seven starts with Belle packing away all her sex-related outfits and toys because she's "going straight". She meets up with Ben and tells him she's got herself a proper job.

Vermicomposting, or vermiculture, is a method of composting that uses worms, either red wigglers or red earthworms, in addition to bacteria, as a catalyst for the decomposition of organic waste. It can occur on a large (tons) or small scale, but it's particularly suited to kitchen composting, where space is limited. To set up a vermicompost, you first must find a bin, anything from a reused plastic bucket to a retailer compost bin, that has holes in the sides to allow air to flow, and a spout that can be opened or closed or holes in the bottom to drain into a collection tray.

Dear E. Jean--
My boyfriend is wonderful, nurturing, fun, and we have common interests which makes everything easy. The problem is (and I’m sorry to be so ill bred as to bring it up) he’s a chronic nose-picker.

One of my favorite things to do with leftover chicken is chicken salad. Usually I shred it over tasty beds of lettuce, but sometimes I really enjoy the taste and crunch of a mixed chicken salad. I love the taste and texture that other ingredients bring to the party.

One of my favorite things about grilled chicken is leftovers the next day. In fact, whenever we fire up the grill, I always insist that we throw an extra piece or two for the next day. It's great in sandwiches, shredded up for burritos or tacos, or in my fave way, cut up and mixed into a nice bright salad.
