I don't take my life — or my mail — seriously enough to ever own a letter opener. But, I do think they're ideal for staging a chic, mature home office, and they also make great gifts for the man who has everything. I guess I'm not the only one who can go without one, because I haven't seen an innovative letter opener since, well, ever.

It's not often that I have top-secret papers that need to be shredded, but it happens occasionally. I can't justify cluttering up my house with a clunky shredder, or spending the dollars on something I rarely use. I would, however, throw down for a pair of The Container Store Stainless Steel Shredding Scissors ($8.99).

I'm a huge fan of kitchen shears. I use them to snip herbs, cut chicken into chunks, and open cheese and prosciutto packages. I find them very handy and employ them on a regular basis.

Can you guess what these shears are for? I think they're up to something fishy.

Hot shoes like this Roberto Cavalli Oil Slick Bootie Pump, $905, are only hot if you can actually wear them. I'm sure most of you have had this problem: you excitedly put on your new favorite shoes, only to find that the soles are so slippery, you feel unstable everywhere you go. That is simply unacceptable, especially since you paid so much money for those gorgeous puppies.

If you can't make it, don't sweat it. I'm sure ESPN will be on site to provide fans with the Rock, Paper, Scissors play-by-play in a later broadcast. Just hold tight and keep those fingers nimble.

I've shown you all some pretty advanced arm balancing poses found in yoga; one being Scissor Legs Side Crow, a balancing spinal twisting pose where your legs are scissored out to the side. In another arm balance, One-Legged Arm Balance, you balance on your hands while your legs are in a split position. After experimenting with both poses, it's really fun to work on switching from one to the other without letting your feet touch the floor.

After practicing Side Crow and Straight Legs Crow, you're ready to give this pose called Scissor Legs Side Crow a try. It's similar to One-Legged Arm Balance, but it's a twist instead of a hamstring stretch. As with all arm-balancing poses, it'll take practice, strength, and stability to achieve this pose, so keep trying until you master it.

Thank goodness for the Scissor Sisters. They are the closest thing we have to glam rock nowadays. This band from New York is also an extreme pleasure to see in concert — Fab recommended.
