I have yet to catch an episode of Sundance's Iconoclasts series, which pairs celebrities or leading innovators from two different industries to chat about their passions and creative processes. But, after seeing some clips of season four, which couples long-time environmental advocate Cameron Diaz and Architecture for Humanity cofounder Cameron Sinclair, I think I've been wooed. This season, the series follows the two to New Orleans and Biloxi, MS, to take in the environmental impact of Hurricane Katrina.

"I think that the world was not fair to her, and they're just using her and not dignifying her. I think she's a survivor and she's doing very well."

Iconoclast: n. One who attacks and seeks to overthrow traditional or popular ideas or institutions. Can I just say I love Sundance's Iconoclast series.

Cameron Diaz and Paul Sculfor snuggled up after a date night in LA this weekend before Cameron traded in her comfy look to get dressed up and present an award at the CNN Heroes event on Saturday. The actress recently toured New Orleans and Biloxi in an effort to raise awareness for how much the cities' environments are still impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Her visit was filmed as part of an ICONOCLASTS episode on the Sundance Channel, and you can see a clip after the jump.

"[S]o much about Amelia is so undeniably modern. If she were to walk into a room today in her jodhpurs and her aviation jackets, [with] her ideas about marriage or men and women, she would still be considered an iconoclast."
— Director Mira Nair on the subject of her upcoming biopic Amelia starring Hilary Swank, about the pioneering aviator's life.

Director, skateboarder and all-around Gen X superhero Spike Jonze was told that turning the beloved children's book Where the Wild Things Are into a movie couldn't be done without serious artistic compromises. Well, not only did he prove his naysayers wrong, his movie was number one at the box office over the weekend!
This iconoclast has been doing his own thing for a while, though, starting out as an untrained videographer for skateboarders, moving on to direct cool videos for bands like The Beastie Boys, and following up on Being John Malkovich and Adaptation with a filmic ballad for the latch-key generation.

I haven't been watching the new season of She's Got the Look, but if I'd known this sort of thing would go on, I'd have popped out the Elmer's and glued myself to the TV. During last night's episode of the modeling-competition show, a contestant named Laurie goes berserk. We're talking about jogging-in-place, taking-off-her-shirt berserk (so, um, maybe don't watch while the boss is around).
