Elegant fire pits are essential for outdoor entertaining at the end of summer, so I simply had to share this Beach Burner Recycled Steel Fire Pit ($449) from Etsy seller John T. Unger.
Each of Unger's one-of-a-kind bowls is made from 100 percent recycled materials, and the 24-inch basins are both sturdy and portable, so you could take yours to the beach or just move it around the backyard.

Nothing gets my daughter more fired up for breakfast than funny pancakes. Whether it's Mickey Mouse pancakes or chocolate chip flapjacks, she's ready to dip into syrup and dive right in with excitement. Adding a little fruit to the dish helps to provide more nutrients and vitamins she would miss if just eating the batter as is.

On last night's The Celebrity Apprentice the male and female teams are challenged to host a live event to launch a new video phone. A heated exchange between Dennis Rodman, who has been on thin ice in weeks past for partying too hard, and Clint Black threatens the men's unity before the task even begins. On the last day of January, 3,000 contestants raced through 21 treacherous obstacles on a course eight "country miles" in length. The course is full of many tunnels, steep descents, barbed wire crawls, muddy swims, and of course trekking through fire.

Earlier this week I revealed the first Katie Holmes for Miu Miu ad and today another has been unveiled. This shot sees Katie posing next to a bowl of fire and looking smoking hot (pardon the pun). It is a slightly more dramatic picture than the previous image, I'm enjoying seeing this side of Ms.
