When it comes to sustainable technologies, Royal Boon Edam is truly opening doors. The company has introduced the world's first energy-generating revolving door, which not only saves energy but also generates it with each person who passes through. The door was installed in the Driebergen-Zeist railway station in the Netherlands, which was recently refurbished by RAU, an architect firm specializing in ecological buildings.

Lately, I've been wishing that Real Simple was my BFF! They've come out with some great money tips recently and their latest contribution intersects two essential greens — money and the environment. Sienna Miller wore her favourite hooded coat as she took her pooch Bess for a walk in New York yesterday. She was without her NY-based buddies and it doesn't sound like she'll be taking romantic walks with her ex Jude Law any time soon, as Sienna's sister Savannah has responded to rumours that Sienna and Jude are getting back together by saying: "I think that would be a completely ridiculous assumption considering the way that man has conducted himself recently. That's all I'm saying."

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may be dominating the promotional circuit right now, but they're not the only cast members with something to say about New Moon. I had the opportunity to chat with costars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, aka Emmett and Alice Cullen, during their recent stopover in SF. They chatted about their characters, the vampire craze, and what it's like to be a "Twilight celebrity."

It's second nature for me to rinse a dirty dish before placing it in my dishwasher; it's what I was taught to do growing up, and the habit always made sense until I came across a tip from Consumer Reports.
The value focused publication suggests that if saving money and water are household goals, we should do the opposite and resist rinsing. CR estimates that just 10 percent of Americans have stopped prerinsing their dishes.
