A dress form can be a quirky design accessory, and if you're crafty, it's helpful too. I just bought this 1920s-era dress form from a friend, and I am absolutely in love with it. If you don't have room for an actual dress form, you can get the next best thing with Ballard Designs Laundry Room Prints ($49-89).

Aside from antiques, it's not often that I see a dining chair that's so outstanding and lustworthy as the Niki Jones Silhouette Chair ($407). The shape has beautiful proportions and such a delicate shape. Its form is based on classic French antiques, but has been updated with a high gloss lacquer.

For all of those fashionistas in your life, there's no such thing as too many dresses. That's why I recommend mailing them a sweet note on this Dress Form Card ($5) from Messenger Bird Press. They'll be thrilled to actually find something in their mailbox, and you can almost guarantee that upon your next visit, this card will be pinned to their inspiration board, along with other fabulous frocks torn from the pages of W and Vogue.

When I came across this Alexander Wang T-Shirt Dress ($395), it immediately went on my must list. I love the contrast between the slouchy top and the curve-hugging skirt, paired together forming one perfect design. It's an effortless dress-it-up, dress-it-down mini.

Upon entering the Donna Karan venue, you were put into a Zen state by loud, yet soothing, Annie Lennox music. My Zen was mildly interrupted by Milla Jovovich, in an awesome striped dress, who sat in the front row with Rachel Zoe and Elle's Joe Zee. These three were very chummy, cozy.
