A rare parasite which burrows into host fish before eating and replacing their tongues with itself has been found off the Jersey coast.
Fishermen near the Minquiers - islands under the jurisdiction of Jersey - found the isopod, a type of louse, inside a weaver fish.

Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan are getting serious.
The Gossip Girl star and her boyfriend, who co-starred as Carter Baizen in the first two seasons and will be back again in Season 3, spent Saturday afternoon drinking champagne at Day & Night Restaurant Beach Club in Southampton, N.Y.
Then they headed to the premiere of Stan's flick Spread in East Hampton.

Leo & Kate Help Last Titanic Survivor

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The last survivor of the sinking of the Titanic in 1912 is getting a hand from Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.
The "Titanic" stars, along with director James Cameron, have contributed to a $30,000 fund for Millvina Dean, 98, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

At 2:20 a.m. on April 15, 1912, the British ocean liner Titanic sinks into the North Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles south of Newfoundland, Canada. The massive ship, which carried 2,200 passengers and crew, had struck an iceberg two and half hours before.

Tiger Woods has a new spot to store his clubs.
The golfer, 32, has snapped up a $65 million, 13,200-square-foot oceanfront estate in Southampton, New York.
The digs come complete with six bedroom suites, a music room, a cypress wood-paneled library and staff quarters, as well as a 7,500-square-foot guesthouse, which features ocean views, three bedrooms, a den and a kitchen.

December 7, 2007 -- WEALTHY residents of the Upper East Side's most expensive blocks are disturbed over noisy, sign-waving protesters on the sidewalks outside their homes.
The latest targets of the visiting activists are Phillippe Dauman, chairman of Viacom, and Henry Kravis, founder of the buyout firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts.
In Dauman's case, a group denouncing violence in rap videos has picketed in front of his East 65th Street townhouse every Saturday since late October, with yet another one planned for tomorrow.
