Thanks to everyone who added their Green Resolutions for 2008! Now that it has been a few weeks into January and I am settled into my new place, I am able to reflect a bit on my situation and see where I can make some changes.
One "problem" I have is that I now live in a garden-level suite and share my recycling and garbage collection with the landlords upstairs.

I've been running and cycling for years and consider myself pretty competent at them. This year, I want to learn to swim. I'm not a bad swimmer now, but I am not technically proficient or anything.

What are your New Year's Resolutions? I rarely make my 2008 goals before New Years Eve however I am positive of what they are this time; here they are:
1. Be open to meeting new friends and trying new activities.

New Years is here. If you are like me you are wondering if you should even bother with New Year's resolutions. But hey, we can't give up on improving ourselves right?

I don't know about you, but New Year's Resolutions have always been sort of a turn off for me. My aversion probably stems back to the fact that they were forced during grade school, and even at times in high school (write your resolutions in Spanish, for example). I've been off the resolution train for some time now, but am getting back on in 2008.

My new years resolution is to put up one blog per day (or poll, or list,or sugarloving, ect.) Anything to earn me points, because my ultimate new years resolution is to become diamond. New years is time, in reality, it's just that one year is ending. But in this case, it's a chance to start over.

Resolve to be Fabulous from the Inside-Out!
New Year’s is the time to start anew, to celebrate, and most importantly, to make New Year’s resolutions. New Year’s resolutions get a bad rep because people often set goals that aren’t realistic and not easily achievable.

It scored her a big hit in 2007. Now R&B singer Fergie is bidding adieu to catchphrase "Fergalicious" for the New Year.
Her resolution for 2008 is "just to be less Fergalicious," the 32-year-old singer jokes in a video posting on FunnyorDie.com.

I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions. I'm a believer in changing things as they come. If there is something I want to change about myself I'm not going to wait until January 1 to do it.

I know everyone likes the typical resolutions. You know like eat healthier, loose weight, stop smoking, quit drinking alcohol, get out of debt, save more money, become more organized, reduce stress, and so on. I hate to be the odd ball here but I only have two simple resolutions for this year.
