I really didn't expect to enjoy the Super Bowl this year. Partly because this was the first time in three years that one of my two favorite teams (the Steelers and the Colts) was not in the game, and partly because I dreaded the chance that New England might blow out the Giants. But I did enjoy it, and not just because the Giants won.

WEMBLEY, England (AP) -- They mucked their way through a steady rain.
They played as if they were in a London fog.
The NFL's first regular-season trip overseas was every bit as sloppy as it was predictable Sunday.

She is much more Religious Right then I like in Conservative politicians, but I still found her interesting.

Right-wing radicals are already pinning presidential ambitions on a mother-of-five from Minnesota who calls herself a 'fool for Christ' and condemns Obama as a socialist at the head of a gangster regime

On a balmy autumn day in Vancouver, a young man is longing for a walk outside in the sunshine, and deciding against it. Far easier for him to stay in his hotel room, cocooned in five-star luxury with a mobile phone that has run out of charge, safe at least from the girls chanting his name outside. The World Won't Wait On Washington Indecision
A Commentary By Tony Blankley
On three fronts -- South Korean trade, Ukrainian/Russian diplomacy and Afghan war fighting -- the Obama administration is being increasingly pressured by unfolding events to shed ideology and rationalizations and come quickly to a realistic analysis of world events and their consequences. In each of these cases, in the absence of very prompt United States policy decisions and actions, we shall incur long-term irreversible economic, geopolitical or national security harm. I will discuss the Afghan war decision in a future column.
