Age ain't nothin' but a number, says Oscar-nominated Diving Bell and Butterfly director Julian Schnabel.
Blogs were recently abuzz when his 21-year-old son, Vito, began dating model Elle Macpherson, 44.
But Schnabel told Usmagazine.com at Sunday's Oscars, "They’re hanging out.

I saw a super advance screening of this back in August, because my bf was working with one of the producers. When we went we just thought we were being nice- all we knew was that we were about to see a foreign film about a paralyzed guy. Little did I know that I would be blown away by it and it would get tons of recognition come awards season.

Elle Macpherson has the body of a 21-year-old and he’s called Vito Schnabel. The gorgeous forty-four-year-old supermodel has been stepping out with lucky floppy-haired art dealer Vito, the son of famous filmmaker Julian Schnabel.
The couple have been spotted around New York’s Greenwich Village, and are expected to make their first public appearance tonight at the Designer of the Year awards in New York.

I subscribe to The New York Observer just to read Simon Says, the column that Simon Doonan writes with that wicked sense of humor that I cannot resist.
He is hilarious and the genius behind Barney's window displays, plus he's chic, well traveled and smart as a whip!

Sean Young has learned to control her “social hostility” problems following a spell in rehab.
The No Way Out star checked herself into a self-help facility to tackle alcohol issues earlier this year after she was escorted from the Directors Guild of America Awards show in Hollywood for heckling nominee Julian Schnabel.
Now, clean and sober, the actress admits she had become hostile to all things Hollywood and needed to take a break from Tinseltown.

I saw this movie in theaters as soon as it came out. I was dying to see it; I’d read the book early in the year and thought the story was just perfect for the Coen Brothers.
For those who have yet to see it, the story follows Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin), a poor sap who is in the wrong place at the wrong time when he finds a bunch of dead people in the middle of the desert and a bag filled with money.

Buzz posted the Oscar noms, which were announced this morning, but I figured I'd repost them here, for sake of conversation.
I am SO happy about some of these nods, especially:
Javier Bardem for supporting actor - TOTALLY deserves it and will probably win
Ellen Page for lead actress - she probably won't win but yay for her anyway
Juno for best picture - again, it's the underdog and probably won't win, but what an achievement
"Falling Slowly" from Once for best song - I really, really hope this wins over the songs from Enchantment.
Diablo Cody for the Juno screenplay - I think she's going to win for best original.
