Refrigerators - one of the most energy-draining appliances in one's home.
I simple tip for cutting down on energy loss is to keep your freezer full to the brim! Keep large jugs of water in your freezer to take up the extra room and to keep your food from spoiling incase of power outage.

I just created a new group

Sometimes I find a recipe that would be good to freeze so I double the batch and freeze a portion. It's great to have them on had for those days I didn't *quite make it to the grocery store or I just too tired to be creative. I would love to have more recipes so please contribute!

Cool rubbery molds that add a touch of whimsy to your festive table. A conversation piece (dare we say ice-breaker?) to get your party started. Drop your icy shape in a punch bowl or pitcher and see the smile surface.

I allowed myself to use the excuse of it being my reward for all the hard labor I do daily, but now I realize I have even more labor to put into on the treadmill.
