The Tudors, on Showtime is one of my new favorite shows. It's a great period in time, but the show has such a modern feel to it, you almost forget it's a period piece. I love it and Jonathan Rhys Meyers is absolutely brilliant!Show-time!

CBS to borrow "Dexter" from Showtime
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - CBS, seeking to fill programming holes left by the writers' strike, said on Monday it will rerun the entire first season of the crime drama "Dexter" from Showtime, its sister cable channel, starting next month. "Dexter," which stars Michael C. Hall (formerly of HBO's "Six Feet Under") as a police forensics investigator who moonlights as a serial killer, will make its CBS debut on February 17 and air for 12 consecutive Sunday broadcasts.Showtime Rotisserie yummm chicken. set it and forget it

Last night I watched the first episode of this raunchy new show on Showtime On Demand. We open with Hank Moody going into the chapel at a cemetary to have a little chat with God.
I just need to vent..
I have been dropping hints to my husband for weeks about going to see "Dear John." We decided to save it for Valentine's Day, all the while, I was secretly hoping he would go ahead and buy tickets in advance so they would would be sure to see it on that day, after a romantic dinner of course. After talking to him today, he confided that he had not bought tickets yet, so I took it upon myself to go ahead and do so. Well, the only show times left are for 9:45 and we have a 10 month old son with grandparents who can't babysit him for very late or keep him overnight because as we all know, Valentine's Day falls on a Sunday this year and they all have jobs. As soon as I mentioned the late showtime, my husband responded by saying, "Well, I have to go to work the next day!!" (Insert my annoyance here.) Now before anyone says, "You can celebrate it on Saturday", I will put it out there that we can't. We have something to do every night this week and a strict schedule to work around because my husband is a Police Officer. I have talked to him at length in years past about trying a little harder to be romantic and he admits that it is something he isn't good at. I understand that, which is why I dropped hints!! Our sex life has taken a nose dive since our son was born and I was just really looking forward to a romantic evening that wouldn't go on too late. I know all is not lost, we can still go to dinner, but the movie is out the window and I was SO looking forward to seeing that with him on Valentine's Day. I just feel so disappointed because I feel like he is not trying at all!An Ode to Mary-Kate on Weeds!
