Our old apartment had a tiny tiny tiny galley kitchen so when we moved into our current apartment with an eat-in-kitchen the extra space was a dream come true, and thanks to Ikea and CB2 I was able to create my dream space without having to scour flea markets for furniture to paint white and aqua.

Off to Market: Kitchen Island
OK readers, I'm moving into my new kitchen this week, and I need your help finding the perfect kitchen island. There's a large space between the fridge and cabinets. If I leave it empty, it will be wasted space, but if I get a portable work station, it will be more counter space!
My Studio
I've been slowly working on my studio apartment slowly for about 2 years. I haven't been actively working on it for time and money reasons, so I just get one thing at a time. Though I still think it needs some work, I've finally gotten to a point of liking it.
