I spotted this mirror in the portfolio of über talented designer-to-the-stars Kishani Perera and felt a sharp pang of design envy. Not only is the mirror seriously opulent, it's a showstopper that I'd kill to have in my home. On second thought, I'd seen it before.

Wisteria's Semi-Annual Sale has kicked off with savings of up to 60 percent on accessories, lighting, and furniture. Aside from fantastic prices, there's a lot to love in the sale, be it little accents like this Suzani Pillow ($57, reduced from $89) or larger, swoonworthy investment pieces like this hand-cut inlaid camel bone Moorish Chest ($1,949, reduced from $2,999). Furniture, rightly so, is one of the things I debate most over when shopping. It's definitely an investment, and something you carry between houses, and own longer than cars. But a good furniture sale has been known to cause me to shop spontaneously.

Through Thursday, Wisteria is offering 20 percent off orders of $200 or more when you enter the code SALE0409 at checkout. I'm loving this Swedish antique-inspired Triangle Tea Table ($559 with discount, $699 regular) with its distressed pine and demilune top. While $200 is not an amount most people spend frivolously these days, when you're shopping for furniture, 20 percent goes a long way.

Growing up with a beekeeper father has left me with an oddly profound love for the buzzing creatures. I'm not about to harvest a beehive myself, but I wouldn't mind a bit of bee-themed décor. I think this elegant Wisteria Mercury Glass Beehive Cloche ($27, reduced from $54) is the perfect compromise, especially since it also supports my love for mercury glass.

I've always been a fan of industrial furnishings, like this vintage peg leg cart, but use too much of them and your home starts to look like a factory. The Wisteria Aluminum Side Table ($165) has an urban, industrial edge, but its polished aluminum makes it a bit more contemporary, and appropriate for my oh-so-avant-garde digs. I think pairing it with natural materials, like the stones here, can even make it work in a more traditional interior.

I'm so strongly drawn to feminine accessories that sometimes I forget that men need furnishings, too! And, having a gender-neutral room when you're living with your man can be key to a successful cohabitation. That's where this Wisteria Riveted Metal Lamp ($115, reduced from $289) comes in.

Red and green may evoke the holiday season for many of you, but nothing says Winter like some shiny, icy blue. Put a match to some tea lights in the Wisteria Cool Blue Mercury Glass Votive Holders ($18.20 for six, reduced from $28) and your home will be a Winter wonderland, sans the icicles and frigidity. Considering how trendy mercury glass is these days, I can't help but snatch them up.

In the latest issue of Domino, readers got a tour of British designer Matthew Williamson's vibrant and enchanted Hampstead, London, cottage. Williamson didn't execute one stitch of reservation when it came to designing his digs, filling his home top to bottom with finds from all ages and places, and infusing it with a surplus of color. One of my favorite furnishings of his is a high back, woven rattan leaf chair sitting in the corner of his dining room.

I'm always on the lookout for interesting lighting, and while I do go gaga for hip, modern pieces, my traditional upbringing has left me with a soft spot for antiques and reproductions likely to be coveted by mother. The Wisteria Call to Dinner Chandelier ($349) is no exception. Its reproduction old hotel silverware and hemispheric iron frame give it the look of an antique, without the price.
