The Love, Love, Love Card ($4.50) from Two Trick Pony is a great example of a simple, stylish Valentine's Day card. I'd save this one for my graphic designer friends, or anyone that's interested in typography. This card and envelope are made from 100-percent postconsumer waste recycled paper, and come packaged in a biodegradable, compostable PLA sleeve. Stylish and eco. What better way to say Happy Valentine's?

I love the adorable cards and prints created by Laurie Mee and Carrie Siegel, the co-owners of Two Trick Pony. You may remember that I've shared their cards with you before. Laurie and Carrie's retro designs are screen-printed by hand on 100 percent post-consumer waste recycled paper with water-based inks and often include simple, heartfelt sentiments on the card's image. I'm excited to tell you that the ladies are back with a full range of holiday cards, and a few very cute prints. I'm particularly fond of this Deck the Halls Box Set ($16 for a box of six cards).

Laurie Mee and Carrie Siegel, the co-owners of Two Trick Pony, create delightful card designs that are screen-printed by hand on 100 percent post-consumer waste recycled paper with water-based inks. I love the retro look of their designs, and the straightforward perfection in the cards' sentiments.

Since I'm in the middle of writing thank-you cards to our wedding guests, my eye was particularly drawn to these thank-you cards ($16 for six cards and envelopes). They're graced with a simple, pretty design rendered in perfect Autumnal shades. I find that everyone appreciates a thank-you card now and then, be it for a dinner party or a random act of kindness. Why not stock up so your generosity can run rampant?

Philippe Starck and Karl Lagerfeld Guest Edit Wallpaper*

Wallpaper* has called on two titans of the design world, Philippe Starck and Karl Lagerfeld, to guest edit its October issue. Beginning by pushing the boundaries of magazine production, Starck designed the first triple-layered, transparent front cover, while Lagerfeld introduced the first peelable front cover.

As for the editorial, Starck approached scientists, physicists, cosmologists, artists, and activist rock stars, on a "mission to make intelligence sexy." Meanwhile, Lagerfeld brought his photography skills to light, following his new model muse and coverman Baptiste Giabiconi "from Ancient Rome to mid-century Paris," revealing a passion for architecture. I love to see these design icons moving beyond the parameters we're used to seeing them in, not only taking on new roles as editors but showing that they're not one-trick ponies.
