I don't think that folks of these means are able to even relate to we everyday "joes". They seem so out of touch with reality and the day to day problems of real people. Take some of the $14.8 million that you get for the sale of your home and help thousand's of out of work reagular folks buy their groceries or pay for a medical bill!! What celebrities receive in compensation for what they do is absolutely outrageous. Share the wealth with the regular working folks who are losing their jobs and homes.

You know honestly the pics of their home show a mansion type home with a modestly decorated style like someone only spends limited time there...as for the colors they should (yes) paint it all neutral tones to attract buyers however a buyer will indelibly paint and decorate to their own style regardless of the colors in the home..I sold my home recently and the RE Agent told me to paint it all neutral (beiges) and I did. Most who came in and viewed the home said they wanted to see some sort of color even if it was a different color per room...the prob is no one can please everyone...but yes the pink dining room ??? Gimme a break that's weird but the rest is like anyone else with a desire for differential colors in their home would do but that dining room is just plain weird...but it would most def. not turn me off because bottom line...I can paint and decorate ANY home I want to my tastes..the weirdness for me is that through the pics the home does not look lived in...Huge rooms with small amounts of decoration or furniture make the room look like its sprawling and through like I said the pics it makes the home look vacant or not a priority home...it looks like an investment only...

KNOW ABOUT THE MANSION, it is beautiful. Some of the furniture is too light in color for my taste. What is being called the pink dining room looks like a sun porch of something because it is much to small for a dining room in a mansion like that. If it is the dining room, I wouldn't have picked pink, it's not classy enough for the home. I like the sitting room, it just needs a home theater.

Just because you can't afford to buy it don't be so rude!! Tim & Faith are beautiful down to earth people.. they didn't get where they are by sitting on thier asses!! They are great people and they do a lot for many different charities and organizations. I look at it this way.. if you don't like the house then you buy it and paint it.. nobody here is passing judgement on your home!

No one complaining because they've the house
When people have to much money , they lose
respect for money . We need more celebrities
    helping others .

Cowell from American Idol , he was a good sport
he helped a family and paid there mortgage off.
I thought that was nice of him .

I know people who's not rich and guess what they
help people weekly in more ways than one .

Anyways this house is fine outside , but instead it
could stand ,paint and much more . Seriously you would
thought they would remodel this house with all that
    money they've. I'll grade it ....."C"......

what they've , end up losing respect for money and
everyone around them . Money is a tool , and it depends
on what you do with it .

Doesn't seem to have been too kid friendly..But we haven't seen all of the rooms in the mansion. I just hope the ring grabbing, and the crotch-grabbing twits and the rough-neck wanna-be that hit the woman in the face..See these pictures and eats their hearts out.. Tim and Faith deserve better fans than that.

Seriously, the only reason I'm commenting is HOW PETTY OF YAHOO to put this in "news events."

Who cares if the man didn't like the red dining room... if you are a multi-millionaire able to afford the purchase, you would simply have an interior decorator remodel it.

Considering the status of the global economy, the US economy, and the up coming presidential election, this stuff if very petty.

You don't have to like the house unless you are buying it. Everyone has their own view of how they want their house to look. If you want what they have get off your butt and work for it like they did. You don't get things in life handed to you, stop sitting around doing nothing, go out and earn what you want.

The mansion is nice but does not look "homey". Tim and Faith strike me as country folk in their personalities and from the many interviews I have seen. As for "the pink room" it is a breakfast/informal eating area ie like a breakfast nook. I have not seen their financial records and I am sure none of you have either for that matter. So you cannot say what they do with their money. We work hard for our money and have taken care of family and other people for years...can you say that? If you don't like the way people in the public eye live, such as entertainers, don't buy tickets to thier shows. But, you might keep in mind that those people actually provide jobs to the band members, roadies, all of the venues where they perform. I am sure I needn't go on.

Let them enjoy selling the home. For all you know they may be buying some 4 bdrm "home" in some back water town and pouring their money into the local community.

Come on people...it's not the ugliest house I've seen. It's all cosmetic...and everyone's taste is different...not always GOOD or BAD. I think the pink "dinning room" is cute... however, the REAL dinning room is photo 6. The kitchen is amazing, Wow, the pool, great place to have a BBQ outside. After all, this is their second, third, or whatever number home. They are a great couple, and seem very friendly.

It's pretty amazing all the negative comments and bashing going on. Rich people have stuff...so, I deserve it too, so give it to me attitude is crap. I'm not rich by any means, well, not at all, but we all live in the same wonderful country that has no limits on how much you can make. We make choices, life happens and sometimes a bit of luck effects our economic situation. But if you don't like it, change it!

I get so sick of people wanting free handouts instead of goin out and getting a job and make a living of their own and not off others...too many lazy people anymore...

The house is beautiful, and if they were blessed to buy it, praise God. You can't take any of this stuff with you when you pass away anyway.

Bless you both, and all of you out there.

ok first of all look at it this way me raising three children, and hardly getting getting around on my income, and i live in a apartment , and tell me something none of you make thwe money they do, and one thing in my shoes is I take what I can, and another thing that house is a temp thing while they were filming, i have to agree with the person that said i wouldn't fill a temp house with memory. I wait to either get back to my orignial house or when I get a house to fill it with memory's. One thing i learn in this messed up economy is we take what we can and we grab what we earn, and can't be selfish, and it is childish to slam there house when they earned it, and we wouldn't want people slamming what we earned, it's not easy to get a house, ans even harder to keep it, and sorry these singers, and actors, and actresses go through hell to get there money just like a factory person,i'M SORRY BUT i FEEL WORST FOR STAY AT HOME MOM'S, AND FACTORY WORKERS,because they are on there feet all the time, all I'm sayin is don't slam people for what they have and what they earn, because we would kill to have a place like that, and everyone style is different, but face it it's a temp place.

Nothing matches in this house and with so many little kids you'd ditch the dressy dinning room. Nobody has lived there in forever. Whenever l see "MTV My Crib" of some rich as punk rap wanna be who has kids..it's never made worth for kids. All nicely tucked away like nobody lives there. So steril. Makes me wonder who lets their kids really be kids.

Saying that the couple should divide their wealth they worked for is insulting, in my opinion. I mean, this couple worked for their money, they just happened to be much richer than..most people.

I'm not rich (at all!) but I'm not going to walk up to some guy down the street living in a big house owning 2 mercedes benz or more, and demands that he helps pay for my car, my phone bills, or pay for downpayment of a house I want to buy. That guy may be a jerk but he sure worked to get to where he is (or he's lucky), and it's not my place to put out my hand and expect a handout.
If I want to be in his position, then I'd better do something different or hope for winning the lottery, eh? Smiling

Back to the house, wow, that's one expensive house, and I don't agree with their decor. The only reason I clicked on this post is because my niece is CRAZY about Tim McGraw (she can't stop squealing and giggling every time his name is mentioned) and she's going to be seeing him in concert soon LOL.

But as some one else said, They have not all ways been rich and They have not forgot that. They do give back to their community and they love it. So lets not forget we are the ones that made them the people they are today. As far as the house IT IS THEIRS to do with what they like and what they want. More power to them.
