This Hollywood Regency Vintage Metal Stool ($450) from Bond & Bowery has a turquoise-y green patina that's appropriate for its age, seeing as it was built in the 1940s. There's a common name for this sort of coating that forms when copper, brass, or bronze are exposed to air or seawater over a period of time. Do you know the word that describes this patina?

One of the greatest things about eating at an outdoor café is being one of the lucky ones who scores a seat in the sun. But on those perfect Spring days when the café chairs at your favorite boulange have all been scooped up, you're not completely at a loss. Head home with a baguette in hand and re-create the look of that sunny sidewalk station at your home with Pottery Barn's new Woven Cafe Chair ($199).

It's no secret that I adore most everything, OK everything, that has the Eames label attached to it. Unfortunately, I can't afford one bit of it . .

Montreal-based Bruxe Design has created a line of pendants inspired by iconic midcentury modern chairs, such as Eero Saarinen's Tulip Chair and Charles and Ray Eames's DCW chair. The miniature furniture necklaces, appropriately called Tiny Little Chairs ($140-$1,600) and available in sterling silver, bronze, and 10K gold, allow you to show the world your love for design, whether you're sitting in your living room or not. Would you wear one?

A sunny Sunday and a rockin' antique fair make for one happy salvage queen. Inspired by the musical coffee table I spotted recently, I saw a few skins at a local flea market that caught my attention. While I don't need a coffee table, the size of these green guys had me thinking hmmm .

Charles and Ray Eames have won over my heart but not necessarily my paycheck. Even still, I've had my eye on the duo's iconic Walnut Stools ($829) from the day I spotted them in the corner at Room & Board. Originally made in 1960 for the Time Life Building in New York, the steep price tag is more reflective of modern times.

What's old is new, or at least it can be. Some aged chairs are charming in their vintage fabrics and scuffed up legs, but there are some that are just begging for a makeover. On a mission to find a killer chandelier, I took a trip to a local vintage shop called Past Perfect.
