Desire/Acquire: Faux Fur Throw

I bought a faux fur comforter from Pottery Barn about eight years ago - oh I am such a trendsetter! - and it's so gosh darn cozy. Even though in the wintertime, I tend to walk around my apartment wearing the thing like a robe and vehemently refuse to take it off, I am tempted to buy an additional faux fur throw for my living room. The smaller size seems more convenient, practical, and well, less embarrassing. That said, I'm not sure whether I want to shell out $99 for Pottery Barn's current Faux-Fur Throw. So I've been looking for a more affordable alternative, and whadya know? I found a much cheaper option! Want to see it?

Exclusive Sneak Peek! Pottery Barn Halloween 2010 Collection

Last week I gave you a look at the new Pottery Barn Fall collection, now I have an exclusive sneak peek at the brand's upcoming Halloween and Thanksgiving collection! Considering how kitschy Halloween decorations can get, I'm really thrilled with this line. Pottery Barn's giving pumpkin gourds and everything spooky a sophisticated makeover with vintage-inspired designs and rustic materials - a far cry from the orange plastic bowls we see in grocery store aisles. I think my favorites are the new birch bark pillar candles and these amazing encyclopedia skull and bones scientific canvases.
