There's a rumor flying about that Oprah is house hunting for new digs in DC, so she'll be close to buddy Barack Obama. NYPost is claiming that she's been eyeing a nine-bedroom, $50 million Georgetown mansion from afar. The property on the market fitting that description is the nine-bedroom, $49 million, 1801 Federal-style house shown here, which features "majestic grounds & gardens, parking for 100 cars, ballroom, gatehouse [and an] additional building overlooking Washington Monument and Rock Creek Park."

Oprah Winfrey's shelter magazine, O at Home has folded, according to a Hearst press release. The publication's content will be consolidated back into its flagship, The Oprah Magazine, under Editor in Chief Susan Reed. The last issue, Winter 2008, will hit newsstands Nov.

According to Real Estalker, Oprah has put her 1,838-square-foot, 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo on Miami's Fisher Island for $2.09 million. The listing for the property reads:

According to Big Time, power woman Oprah Winfrey has discreetly sold her 4,806-square-foot, 39th-floor penthouse in Atlanta’s Buckhead area for $1.8 million. The sale of the five-bedroom penthouse actually took place on June 4. Oprah paid $1.52 million for the property in mid 2003, but Big Time says, "it’s unclear what Oprah’s use was for the unit during the years she owned it."
