Unless you're incredibly polite and believe that curiosity really did kill a cat, you've probably peeked into someone else's bathroom cabinet. I know that I have — in fact, I'm pretty sure I did it on my second date with my now-fiancé. Since I've moved in, the medicine cabinet's gotten a little more loaded.

We've all got bathroom essentials to store that may not necessarily be for all eyes to see (you know what I mean), and of course we've got to have a healthy supply of first aid supplies. There's no reason, though, to throw them in a messy drawer, or let them pile up on the bathroom counter. With these red cross medicine cabinets, you can bring a little bit of pharmacy chic into your home without compromising your counterspace, and you don't have to be Swiss to own one.

Refinery29 recently toured the home of Vena Cava designer Lisa Maycock and while I did love the easy elegance of her home's "lost and found" look, what struck me most was its sense of humor. In a corner of her living room, she placed a wooden triangle pegged with metal spikes on her Marcel Breuer Wassily Chair. In her bedroom, a poster titled "Just Bone Me" with skeletons in kama sutra poses hangs above her bed.I once had a cocktail party, and lined the shelves of my medicine cabinet with medicine bottles filled with candy.

Although I thought that I had enough reusable bags, it's true that I don't have any market bags hand painted with French messages — and what could be more eco chic than French market bags? The Visez Vert Market Bag ($18) asks you to "aim green," and is illustrated with the Eiffel Tower and scrolls.
This generously-sized bag (14 inches tall) is excellent for small grocery loads or for trips to the drugstore for medicine cabinet essentials.

I was so flipped out over this photo gallery that TB12Fan posted of her newly renovated house that I had trouble choosing a photo to feature as today's Su Casa. So please do me a favor and flip through the whole thing! Don't miss the "Eat" sign on the yellow kitchen wall and the formal but fun living room.
