January Jones Buys a Fixer-Upper in Los Feliz

January Jones's character in Mad Men may live in a picture-perfect house, but in real life, the actress doesn't mind a little work. January just snatched up a fixer-upper in LA's Los Feliz neighborhood for just over $1 million. The 2,200-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath 1920s Mediterranean villa is definitely dated, and a far cry from some of the slickly renovated homes of her contemporaries.

The kitchen, with its sad linoleum floors and vintage cabinets, could be reconfigured and remodeled. But overall the space is charming and bright with beautiful landscaping, and it would make an ideal place to throw a '60s-inspired cocktail party. See photos when you read more.

Charlie Sheen Lists His Lovely Los Feliz Pad

Charlie Sheen has listed his 4,179-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-and-one-half bath restored Mediterranean-style-home in LA's Los Feliz neighborhood for $3.7 million.

The home, which is not Sheen's principal residence, might just be my favorite celebrity home I've seen to date. Sheen and his wife have made the wise choice to let the gated villa's beautiful architectural details (vaulted, wood-beamed ceilings, rich wood floors, stunning floor tiling, a sweeping staircase) shine by using primarily solid white upholstery and adding personality with accessories and interesting artwork. Outside, the home boasts a courtyard entry, a lush, private backyard with swimming pool, and outdoor terraces. When it comes down to it, I wouldn't change a thing about the home, and I'd gladly move in today. See dozens of photos when you read more.

This Just In: Katherine Heigl Lists Her Starter House

According to Real Estalker, Katherine Heigl has put her 2,369-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath Los Feliz, LA home on the market for $1.75 million. Heigl purchased the home in April 2006 for $1.5 million, before she really became the talk of the town, and before she and Josh checked into their new home. The listing for the property reads:

Celebrity owned redone contemporary w/ open floor plan. Stunning walls of glass to view city from downtown to ocean. Professionally designed dream kitchen w/ SubZero, center island, and granite counter tops. Large master w/ French doors to city view balcony. Sensational master bath w/ huge stone steam shower. Many upgrades such as hardwood floors, dual zone a/c, recessed lights. Entertainers yard w/ room for pool.

The house is obviously staged, so the photos don't say much about her decorating style, but something tells me she has good taste.

Coveted Crib: Gwen Stefani's Old Digs

According to Big Time, the former home of Gwen Stefani, and current home of That '70s Show creator Mark Brazill is on the market for nearly $4.9 million. Built in 1928, Sotheby's calls it "one of the finest Mediterranean estates in Los Feliz." With Moroccan-looking tiles throughout, many original architectural details, as well as magnificent landscaping, it truly is stunning. While certain elements of the interior design do enhance its appeal, the architectural bones of this 1920s Mediterranean home are what elevate it to Coveted Crib status. Gossip Girl Producer Sells in Los Feliz

Josh Schwartz, who's best known for producing and writing shows such as Gossip Girl, The OC, and Chuck, has sold his Los Feliz, CA, home for $2.15 million.

The beautiful 1928 home was originally listed in April for $2.4 million. Given that other celebs have been forced to lower their prices by close to half a million, this price drop doesn't seem particularly harsh, especially given the real estate market's current woes.

The house itself is absolutely lovely, with great bones and much of its original Spanish detailing. Updates like tropically landscaped outdoors areas, a koi pond, heated pool, and a grotto spa perfectly accent the charming house's Spanish-style edifice. Inside the 3,468-square-foot home, the new owner (who's the former creative director for 7 For All Mankind), can enjoy such features as vaulted ceilings, a downstairs screening room, Saltillo tile floors, five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, and numerous fireplaces. I also love that this home's library has a sliding bookshelf that opens to the wine cellar. Overall, this is one of the more charming celebrity homes I've seen in a good while.
